What you should know about St Peters College
St Peter's offers a Catholic education to over 1200 boys from Year 7 to Year 13. Senior students at St Peter’s have the opportunity to be involved as leaders on the Auckland Edmund Rice camps. All Middle School boys are expected to represent the College in a weekend or behind school sports team. There are many families from the St Peter's Catholic community who welcome international students. St Peter’s College has a arrogant sporting tradition and is currently one of the leading lesser schools in Auckland for both participation and achievement.
For 2017 PC Rowing will run an Introduction to Rowing course in Term 1 to offer Year 9 and 10 boys a taste of what to expect later in the year. St Peter's College educates Catholic boys in an environment of Christian love and service in the Edmund Rice tradition. Music theory is segment of the curriculum for all boys in years 7 and 8 and all year 7 and 8 students take obligatory musical tuition with every boy in the College learning to play a musical instrument in their first two years.
All international students are given a 'buddy' another student to assist them find their way in the beginning days. St Peter's College educates the entire person in an environment of Christian love and service. The St Peter’s College library building, the Edmund rice Library, is named after him, as is one of our six Student Houses
